50 YEAR REUNION - GOLF SCRAMBLE RESULTS
12 teams braved the Michigan heat (90+ temperatures) in the 50 year reunion 18 hole Golf Scramble held at the Dearborn Hills Golf Course on August 8, 2025. A huge thank you to Dean Jenner and Dave Hoover for heading up the event, Bob Scott for the Monster Drink Koozies and Don & Jan (Glotzhober) Klopcic for their donation of golfer bags/accessories and thirst quenchers at the end of play!
And the winners were:
Back 9 Bandits and Lords of the Pin tied at 5 under par. (I'd say that Patti Empson Garcia was the most amazing winner being on the Back 9 Bandits winning team and never having played golf before!)
We also had six Course Rangers who safely cruised the course in three (3) golf carts during the Golf Event and check up on players and even take photos! Volunteers were Sue Ashton, Sherry (Bassett) Muller, Kathy (Fritsch) Summers, Bob Romeo, Bill Moore (substitute for Peggy Stando Romeo) and Dale (Mainwaring) Robinson. Thank you all!
