I knew Carol in elementary and high school.  During elementary school, she was in my girl scout troop. I hung out with her during our high school junior year along with Linda Savchetz and Liisa Hanninen.  She was a lot of fun and had a GREAT sense of humor!  She could always see the humor in most situations.  She was very friendly and liked people.  I was sad to hear that she passed at a young age and the devastating effect her death had on her family.  Sending prayers! 🙏

I'm sorry to learn of Carol's death at such a young age, and the pain and unexpected changes in your life Lana. I feel very saddened that you didn't have more time to share in her kindness, humor, and see her beautiful smile and eyes share in your joy and just be there for you.
I believe that Carol still is with you and stands with you through the really challenging and the good moments.
Lana, I wish you Peace in your heart.

Lana, I knew your mother from a distance; I wouldn't say we were friends, I knew her name and face from elementary school through high school. I was pretty shy as a child, we were in different social circles in middle and high school years. As I look back, as a child, and maybe still, I think I divided people up into two categories: safe and unsafe/kind and unkind. I always saw your mother as kind. We might say hi and smile at each other in the school hallways. From the elementary school playground to teenage struggles, your mother was friendily and smart. She was a good human! Sad she left so soon, my condolences, much love, Spencer (aka Daniel Spencer Price)

Lana, I knew your mother and she was a very fun person, always laughing.  She was a loyal friend and a kind person.  I was saddened to learn that she passed away too soon.  I can't imagine the pain that goes along with lossing a mother at a young age.  She was "good people".  I hope that you find some peace with these rememberances.

Lana, I am sorry for the loss of your mother at such a young age. I admire that you took the time and effort to try and learn more about what she was like in high school, and I hope reading these comments has helped. I remember your mother as a kind, compassionate and inclusive girl. We were not what I would call 'close friends', but I remember she was friendly and helpful to me in the classes we had together. She had a sweet smile and a great laugh-I remember that! Funny how I haven't thought much about high school in years, and yet when the name Carol Hutchins came up I had no trouble bringing her face and a few memories to mind. heart

Lana, I wasn't close friends with your Mom but I had her in a few classes & remember joking around & laughing with her alot. We were both sarcastic & it was very fun. She was a very nice woman & I will always remember the laughter. I'm sorry you lost her at such a young age; you had a wonderful funny Mom.
